The Dallas Police Department offers college students the opportunity to participate in a non-paid college credited internship program.
Interns will have the opportunity to gain experience in numerous areas within the department. Students interested in this program must meet the following minimum requirements:

Must be 18 or older

Currently enrolled in a college or university
Must be earning college credits (major does not have to be in criminal justice)

Official letter from the attending college or university, stating how many credit hours will be awarded and how many hours must be worked during the internship.

Must abide Dallas Police Department rules and regulations.

Must pass a Preliminary Interview and Background Check.

Must be willing to sign liability wavers.
